I'm still squee-ing from yesterday's Boosh-tastic treat. I'm a huge Mighty Boosh fan. How to describe The Mighty Boosh, for any who may not have seen it? Well, it's magical and hilarious. Watch it immediately, if you have not already done so. It may in fact be the best thing ever. It stars the universe's sexiest citizen- Noel Fielding, and his partner in comedic geniusry- the man of many talents, Mr. Julian Barratt. In addition to them being a hilarious comedy duo, they also have a kind of magical sexual tension between them that fuels the imagination of many of their fans who enjoy the idea of the two of them getting it on. (Because that would be hot. So hot. Mmmm.) They are literally a slash-fiction fan's dream come true, lol.
In the past few weeks, Noel Fielding has been participating in Let's Dance for Comic Relief, the British celebrity dance competition for charity. His first performance of Kate Bush's 'Wuthering Heights' was, I thought, the best thing ever....only to be proven wrong by his second performance of it in the finale yesterday. In addition to the amazing dance performance, and the sexy red dress drag, it featured an appearance by Julian Barratt, who swept in at the end in period garb, beckoned Noel to him, only to have Noel leap into his arms, and then he swept him off the stage romance-novel-cover style. It was MADE OF WIN. The fact that Noel only took third place is beyond me. He should have won as he WAS clearly the winner.

OK, even though we talk all the time, I sometimes forget what a great writer you are. Very well-written post! And funny!! I don't write enough posts that are funny...you're showing me up here, cuz we're a comedy DUO. But, yeah, nicely done and I totally agree, Noel should have won and the bit with Julian in period garb should really have been the "all your dreams are dead" moment for their competition.
